The 100th day of school (February 14th) was a big day for the K-2 children at RES. We have been counting every day to get to 100. We celebrated by rotating through the day in multi-age groups to each teacher, who has a different activity planned relating to 100. For example, building with 100 cups, finding the numbers 1-100 in a classroom and marking them off on a 100's chart and exercising with 100. The teachers even dress up for the occasion! This is a wonderful day relating to counting, place value and other math concepts. It is also a community building event that the children will always remember! Thank you to the K-2 team of teachers for making this an exciting day for our students!
