Dear Families,
I would like to welcome all our students to the 2026-2027 school year. We are excited to have the buses on the road and see everyone at the bus stops.
We have posted the stop times on our website. You can also view your students’ stops on the BusRight App. On the app, you can see if the bus is running early or late. If you have a student riding the bus and don’t currently have a login, an invite to the app was sent out. They were sent to the email address we have in our system. If you don’t receive the invite, check your spam first, then contact your school’s office or me, and we can resend it to you. Parents that were utilizing the app last year will keep their current logins.
This year, we will be using the "Safety Pass" feature in BusRight. Each student will receive a card to scan as they get on and off the bus. Cards will be distributed at school during the first week, and students should keep theirs attached to their backpacks. Every student receives a card, even those who don't ride to and from home, so we're ready for field trips and sports trips. No student will ever be denied a ride for a lost or forgotten card — the driver will check them in manually, and you can request a replacement through your school office. The scan records only the stop and the time, which speeds up loading and lets us confirm where and when each student was dropped off.
Please review the bus riding procedures with your student. Have them stand at a safe distance from the road while waiting for the bus. Have them approach the bus or cross the road only when signaled by the bus driver.
Lastly, and most importantly, as you drive around our community, be mindful that the buses are on the road. If the bus has its red lights on, traffic from both directions must stop until the lights are turned off. This is for the safety of our students.
